9. Kevin Willis (2000-01)

Kevin Willis stepped onto the court in 21 different seasons and didn’t fully retire until he was 44 years old. During his time in the league, he suited up for eight different teams, one of which was the Nuggets for half of the 2000-01 season following a trade from Toronto.

In his prime, Willis made an All-Star and All-NBA team as a member of the Hawks while averaging 18.3 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. In his best four-season stretch, three with the Hawks and one with the Miami Heat, he averaged 18.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per contest over 308 games.

Much like many of the other players on this list, he wasn’t quite the same player by the time he arrived in Denver, but he still made valuable contributions to the team. In 43 games with the Nuggets, 13 of which he started, he posted 9.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game at 38 years old.

Willis recorded seven double-doubles with the team, and he also grabbed 18-plus rebounds in three different games. His final game with the team, on April 18, 2001, was his best as he dropped 25 points and pulled down 19 boards to go along with four steals and three blocks in a victory over the Sacramento Kings. Earlier in the month, he also recorded a 17-point, 20-rebound game against the Rockets and had a 19-point, 18-rebound night against the Blazers.
