13. Roy Hibbert (2016-17)

Roy Hibbert’s time with the Nuggets was pretty easy to forget given that he hardly played for the team. He began the season with the Charlotte Hornets but was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in February after 42 games. Hibbert didn’t appear in any games for the Bucks, and just three weeks later, he was traded to Denver.

Hibbert’s tenure with the Nuggets was rather uneventful, and his play wasn’t remotely close to the defensive force that he was on the Indiana Pacers. In his best years with Indiana, he made two All-Star teams, one All-Defensive team, and was regarded as one the league’s best rim protectors, averaging at least 2.0 blocks in three of his seven seasons in Indiana

He was a big reason for Indiana’s success in both the regular season and playoffs, particularly against formidable opponents such as the Big Three era Miami Heat.

Despite remaining on the Nugget’s roster through the end of the season, Hibbert only played in six games for an average of 1.8 minutes per contest. If you had to pick his best game, it would probably be his two-point, one-assist, one-block performance against his former Los Angeles Lakers on Mar. 13, 2017, followed by his two-point, one-rebound game against the Boston Celtics three days earlier.
