14. Al Harrington (2010-12)

Al Harrington was part of some memorable teams, but neither of the Nuggets teams he played for really fit that bill. He was previously part of the 1999-00 Indiana Pacers team that made the NBA Finals (though he didn’t suit up in the playoffs), a member of the “We Believe” Golden State Warriors, and played for a Warriors team the following year that won 48 games and still somehow missed the playoffs.

He didn’t start with regularity until he played with the Atlanta Hawks in 2004. From that point on, he proceeded to average 17.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game on .446/.365/.727 splits over the next five seasons with the Hawks, Pacers, Warriors and New York Knicks. Following the 2009-10 season, Harrington signed a five year, $36 million deal with the Nuggets, whom he’d play for over the next two seasons before being traded to the Orlando Magic.

In his first season with Denver, Harrington averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game off the bench. He scored at least 20 points on six occasions. In his best game, he had 31 points, six rebounds, six threes and three assists against the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 10, 2010.

The following year, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, and was a standout in game seven of the Nuggets’ first-round matchup against the Lakers.

Harrington, alongside Ty Lawson, led the way with 24 points, and he was especially huge in the fourth quarter where he led all scorers with 11 points. Although the Nuggets went on to lose that game, Harrington kept things close, and his efforts are not forgotten.
