7. Juwan Howard (2001-03, 2008-09)

Juwan Howard was one of the better power forwards we’ve seen in the NBA, and during the journeyman’s 19-year eight-team career he made an All-Star team, earned an All-NBA selection, and won a championship with Miami at the tail-end of his career in 2011-12.

His lack of accolades sells his impact short, as he averaged a highly respectable 17.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game on 47.1 percent shooting through the first ten years of his career.

Howard first joined the Nuggets during the 2001-02 season following a trade from the Mavericks. In his 28 games with the team, he put up 17.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists a night on 45.7 percent shooting. The following season, Howard led the team in scoring with his 18.4 points per game, and while their 17-65 record was abysmal, it did earn the team Carmelo Anthony with the third pick in the 2003 draft.

Among Howard’s best games with Denver were his four 30-point games. In the 2001-02 season, Howard posted 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists on Mar. 3, 2002 against a Mavericks team that traded him away. Two days later he dropped 30 points, nine assists and seven rebounds on the Knicks.

The following season, he had 30 points, six rebounds and three assists against the LA Clippers on Dec. 21, 2002 and recorded 30 points, nine boards, and eight dimes against the Bulls on Feb. 4, 2003.

In the 2008-09 season, Howard also played a forgettable three games for the Nuggets before being released by the team to clear roster spots for the trade that sent Allen Iverson to the Pistons.
