As the NBA offseason approaches, players will once again get the opportunity to find new teams. These five might need a change of scenery the most.

The pandemic known as COVID-19 has turned sports off for the time being. We don’t know what it means for the NBA, its playoff picture, or the offseason schedule.

All we can rely on is that things will inevitably resume at some point, with teams and players still having to face the same questions they left on the other side of this hiatus.

The upcoming summer isn’t one that’s necessarily warranting too much excitement.

This year’s free agency market is thin on any superstar talent, and the draft is one of the more looked down upon classes we’ve had in recent years.

A lot of teams are walking into the offseason with very little room to operate in terms of cap space, and those who do have the means to spend will most likely be looking to conserve most of it for the summer of 2021.

Giannis Antetokounmpo headlines a free agency class that could also feature guys like Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gobert, and Victor Oladipo.

Still, there’s bound to be some level of player movement, and some of them need it more than others. A look at five names who could, and need to, be moved this summer. If they’re lucky, they’ll begin next season in a new arena and new uniform.
