Boston Celtics: 15 players you forgot played for the Celtics
2. Jordan Crawford
After being selected in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft, Jordan Crawford never spent more than two seasons with the same team. He will always be known for his incredible ball-handling and dribbling moves; Crawford is a magician with the ball in his hands. He was traded to the Boston Celtics halfway through the 2013 season from the Washington Wizards.
In 66 games for the Celtics, Crawford averaged 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. Midway through the 2014 season, the Celtics took part in a three-team trade that resulted in sending Crawford to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for the Miami Heat’s Joel Anthony and two future draft picks.
After the 2014 season, Crawford would take a brief hiatus from the NBA and join a Chinese basketball club before returning to the NBA in 2017. Crawford has not completely retired, as he is currently playing for a German team, Brose Bamberg (the same team Daniel Theis played for).
Crawford was primarily a bench/role player for the Celtics during those seasons, but he did start a career-high 35 games during a stretch where Rajon Rondo was injured. Although it was only for a short time, Crawford added a different style and flavor to the Celtics bench.
