11. Jim Jackson (1998)

Jim Jackson bounced around a lot of the NBA over his 14 years in the league, spending the most notable of his career averaging 19.6 points per game across five seasons in Dallas. One of his quicker stops came midway through the 1997-98 season when Philadelphia 76ers traded Jackson to the Warriors.

A high-end scorer who averaged as many as 25.7 points per game as a Maverick, Jackson arrived from Philly after experiencing a reduced role, having averaged just 13.7 points in more than 37 minutes a night.

By this point, Jackson was still only 27 years of age with plenty left in the tank. In his prime years, he was hoping to find an organization that would afford the platform to produce numbers closer to his early playing days.

After Chris Mullin had departed the previous offseason, the Warriors were willing to find offense whenever they could, the perfect circumstance for Jackson to rediscover a lost scoring touch.

Jackson’s shot totals increased to 18.5 — up from 11.1 in Philly — to help him average 18.9 points along with 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.

By the start of the following season, Jackson was elsewhere, having signed a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, continuing his bounce around the NBA landscape that wound up including more than a third of the league.
