Throughout a history that has seen plenty of highs and lows, the Golden State Warriors have been home to several players you might have forgotten about.

They might not be recognized as such given how recent a lot of their success as a franchise came, but the Golden State Warriors are among the most prosperous franchises in NBA history.

Dating back to their days in Philadelphia, the Warriors have accumulated six NBA championships. That’s more than the well-respected San Antonio Spurs and tied with the dynastic Chicago Bulls for the third-most in league history.

More from Hoops Habit

One doesn’t have to think too far in the past to remember that championship glory. While they recoup in 2020, the Dubs five consecutive Finals appearances were no easy feat. Neither was the 73-win campaign in 2015-16 nor the three titles they ultimately brought home.

While not the ultimate prize, who could also forget about the famous We Believe team featuring Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, Al Harrington and company that took down the 67-win and No. 1 seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2007 playoffs?

The times, however, haven’t always been so prosperous in the Bay Area, with playoff disappointments and postseason droughts lasting more than a decade this century.

It’s a franchise history filled with plenty of individual notables from former greats like Rick Barry and Wilt Chamberlain to Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. In between, however, are several surprise appearances from players who made their mark on other teams yet found their way to the Bay nonetheless.

Perhaps your brain is strong enough to remember the players who appear on this list or a flash of the name jogs the memory back. To those who are being introduced to these players in Golden State blue and yellow, consider this a filler in a gap of NBA knowledge.
