Who is Leon Rose?

Who is Leon Rose you ask? Well, for those who do not know, Rose was an agent for Creative Artist Agency (CAA) prior to taking on the role of Knicks team president. Rose, who was an agent for 25 years, was known for representing NBA players such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns, and many more.

Prior to his life as an agent, Rose grew up a New Jersey native in the town of Cherry Hill (yes, the very same Cherry Hill that Harold and Kumar journeyed to for their beloved White Castle).

According to Scott Thompson, Rose attended Cherry Hill High School East and was a standout basketball player. He would then take his talents to Dickinson College to continue his basketball career.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Rose enrolled in Temple University’s Beasly School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate degree. Rose then practiced law and become a partner at the firm of Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose, & Podolsky.

At some point, Rose also coached high school basketball for three years and then at the college level for two years.

If there is anything that we can gather from Rose’s life it is that he is always been involved with basketball in some shape or fashion. From playing and coaching to representing players, Rose clearly loves the game.
