Guard – Mychal Mulder
Mychal Mulder is a 6’4″ shooting guard from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He started out at a junior college and after one amazing season transferred to Kentucky. After two mediocre seasons at Kentucky, Mulder declared for the NBA draft and went undrafted in 2017. He was then selected 9th overall in the 2017 G-League draft.
Mulder played two seasons in the G-League for the Windy City Bulls and signed a 10-day contract at the beginning of this season with the Miami Heat. However, he was quickly waived and ended up starting this season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. In February of 2020, Mulder signed a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors which has recently resulted in him signing a multi-year contract with the team.
It has been an incredible journey for Mulder and is the result of hard work and perseverance. In his time with the Warriors this season Mulder is averaging 11.0 points per game with .388/.308/.750 shooting splits.
While these numbers aren’t amazing, Mulder provides great effort on both ends of the floor and will be a solid bench player for the Warriors when Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are both healthy next season.
