Tracy McGrady

All due respect to McAdoo and Allen Iverson but the player at the top of that list for me is Tracey McGrady. McGrady played his penultimate season in Detroit after having the late prime of his career derailed by injuries. He played 72 games for the Pistons in an otherwise lost 2010-2011 season and if you blinked you would have missed it.

Before coming to the Detroit Pistons, and the Knicks before them, it is not hyperbolic to say that McGrady was one of the faces of the league. He showed potential alongside his cousin Vince Carter when playing in Toronto and after signing with the Magic in the summer of 2000 he jumped to another level.

He won Most Improved Player his first season in Orlando and was an All-Star every season there. McGrady also led the league in scoring twice while there. While McGrady did not advance beyond the first round of the playoffs until his final days with the Spurs McGrady is one of the true greats of the game.

There are plenty of other great or well-known players that have put on the red, white and blue of the Detroit Pistons. Who do you think should have made the list?
