5. Valanciunas, Wright and Miles not receiving championship rings

So much good has come from the Raptors 2019 championship run, however, the one thing that still seems kind of strange is the fact that Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright and C.J. Miles didn’t receive championship rings. In my opinion, if a guy played on the team in the same season that a championship is won, that player deserves a ring.

When it comes down to it, even if Valanciunas, Wright and Miles only played half the season for the team, they still contributed to wins on the Raptors record. Which then contributed to the Raptors attaining the two-seed in the Eastern Conference, which then put them in the position to make it to, and eventually win the NBA Finals.

Each and every single game has an impact on the final result at the end of the season and that is why I believe these guys deserved to receive championship rings. It really sucks to see a guy like Valanciunas who committed the first seven years of his NBA career to a team and he has nothing to show for it. The Raptors usually make the right decisions in these types of situations, however, this time, they made a mistake.
