3. Jarrett Allen

The Brooklyn Nets drafted Jarrett Allen in the first round 22nd overall in the 2017 NBA draft. The future of the organization seemed to be in good hands with Allen anchoring the middle for years to come. Fast forward to this past off-season, the Brooklyn Nets decided to sign veteran center DeAndre Jordan to a four-year, $40 million contract.

Allen has made his mark in the NBA by dunking and blocking star players around the league. With LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, and Blake Griffin just to name a few.

Many questioned the signing of Jordan this summer but reports came out that the veteran center played a major role in bringing Durant and Irving to Brooklyn.

Their relationships go back to when all three were teammates in the 2016 Olympics. Jordan has gone on the record stating that the trio has been discussing the possibility of playing together in the NBA. Four years later their fantasies became realities and the destination was Brooklyn.

One of the first moves interim head coach Jacque Vaughn made was to move DeAndre Jordan into the starting line-up and Jarrett Allen to the bench. Kenny Atkinson often penciled Jarrett Allen in as his starting center but with Atkinson now gone, could the Brooklyn Nets package the center in a potential trade this summer?
