4. Utah Jazz

The matchup between the LA Clippers and the Utah Jazz is the least likely of these all. The Jazz would have to drop to the sixth seed in order to face the Clippers in the first round, nevertheless, anything can happen regarding the order of the seeding.

The Jazz have been quite underrated and gone way under the radar this season, but that has been the story for Utah for many seasons now. They are led by one of the top young players in the league in Donovan Mitchell and a constant defensive player of the year candidate in Rudy Gobert.

So far into the season, the Clippers have split the series and in the game they lost, Leonard had one of the worst games this season. Even when they did win, despite Leonard putting up 30 points, the efficiency was horrendous.

In two of these matchups, they have shown they could make Leonard work for his stats and give him some trouble but would that translate into the playoffs?

Just like the previous other teams, the Jazz are not that much of a threat to the Clippers. For the past two seasons, the Jazz have not had much success in the playoffs. In the last two series against the Rockets, the Jazz had done a good job at limiting the opposing superstar in some way, however, the main issue was that they could not step up offensively.

They may be able to somewhat limit Leonard, but would they also be able to limit the likes of George, Marcus Morris, Lou Williams, and Harrell? And on the other end of the floor, has Mitchell improved to the point where he can have a great series?

There are many questions for the Jazz that just makes me doubt that they are a threat to the Clippers or even any team.
