Bradley Beal

You’re going to have a hard time finding someone doing more for their team than Beal has done in the last month or two. Even though his efforts have gone largely unnoticed.

The same criticisms Beal was receiving for his role on offense have transformed into songs of praise. He’s on a streak the likes of which we’ve rarely seen, showing no signs of stopping.

When you’ve got a player with absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain, well you may have the most dangerous one there is. And not too literally speaking, the Wizards do.

Beal recorded a 36 point per game average for the month of February, leading the league. And he started right where he left off in March, going off for 34 points in their win over the Golden State Warriors:

His 22-first quarter points are a true ode to his entire 2019-2020 season in Washington. Beal knows how bad the Warriors are, and how good his team should be.

So he simply went out, and let the rest of the fans watching know too. Washington went up 35-28 after the first quarter and never looked back. Solely because Beal willed it so.

And it’s to the point now, where if the guard is willing them to the playoffs, then we have over half a mind to believe that he will. Beal is averaging 41.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.3 steals over his last six. And it’s going to take just that level of production for Washington to make the postseason.
