The NBA’s buyout market has been especially active, with some household names making their way to contenders. But who made the best signing?

When the NBA trade deadline came and passed, it was clear teams were waiting for the buyout market to materialize before adjusting their rosters. And we’ve seen some household names find new teams along the way, like Reggie Jackson and Jeff Green.

Jackson of course, signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, and Green joined the Houston Rockets.

Marvin Williams was bought out by the Charlotte Hornets and joined the Eastern Conference favorite Milwaukee Bucks, and his former teammate Michael Kidd-Gilchrist joined the Dallas Mavericks. And in addition to Green, the Rockets also brought on DeMarre Carroll, who was bought out after signing on for three years with the San Antonio Spurs.

Seemingly every team who feels they have a shot at the title has made some sort of acquisition via the buyout market.

Things have moved quick, just three and a half weeks following the trade deadline. But as far as the end of the season is concerned, players who cleared waivers by Sunday night are still eligible to join and play for teams with futures in the postseason.

Players like Tyler Johnson, Dion Waiters, and Allen Crabbe are all still available. But with that being said, a look at every buyout market addition, ranked from worst to best.
