One of the largest frustrations for Washington this season, both on and off the court, has been the never-ending trade talk surrounding Bradley Beal.

When he signed his two-year extension back in October, the talk was temporarily silenced–but not for long.

As the Wizards season took its toll, and the losses continued to pile up, Washington’s lone active star began making his personal frustrations known. After a January loss to the Chicago Bulls, Beal told NBC Sports he was growing tired of their lack of success.

"“I don’t like losing. I’m sorry — especially winnable games… I don’t like losing, so [my frustration is] gonna keep building up for me until we starting winning and changing our culture.”"

And more recently, Beal went on a near-historic streak, scoring  53 and 55 points in back to back games. Of course, both were losses for the Wizards, who’ve fallen short in the best of his performances this season. And for Beal, all that matters is the outcome.

Bringing Wall back has a multitude of effects in this regard. Not only does it provide another voice in the locker room, but he undoubtedly contributes to more wins for Washington.

Lessening the frustrations of Beal should be the top priority for the Wizards. Getting Wall back and putting more games in the win column is the only surefire way to do so.

The Washington Wizards know they’re getting John Wall back. Because they have to. Based on their current flaws, and greatest strengths, his return should realign their course for playoffs.
