Top 5 unchanged, but Jayson Tatum lurking on NBA Most Improved Player Ladder

Brandon Ingram is another member of the NBA Most Improved Player Ladder coming off his first career All-Star appearance and Ingram has continued to be solid for the New Orleans Pelicans, who are trying to overcome a 6-22 start and chase down the Memphis Grizzlies for eighth place in the Western Conference.
The Pelicans were 6-4 over the last four weeks, 2-1 while Ingram was down for the final three games before the All-Star break due to a sprained right ankle. In the seven games Ingram was active, he averaged 24.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.3 minutes per game, shooting 51.3 percent overall and an efficient 40.0 percent on 7.1 3-point attempts per game.
Two of Ingram’s best efforts from the last four weeks came in losses to the conference leaders. He scored 32 points with seven rebounds on 12-of-19 shooting in a loss to the Bucks on Feb. 4 and put up 34 points on 12-of-20 marksmanship as the Pelicans lost on the road to Ingram’s former club, the Lakers, on Tuesday.
For the season, Ingram is averaging 24.8 points, 6.3 boards, 4.3 dimes and 1.0 steals in 34.0 minutes per game, appearing in 51 games and shooting 47.6 percent overall and 40.0 percent on 6.3 triple tries nightly.
