1. Perfect fit

The Cleveland Cavaliers are desperate to find a promising wing player to round out their lineup. Brandon Ingram could be the solution to all of their problems.

Let’s start with offense first. The Cavaliers rank in the bottom five for points per game and are severely lacking in 3-point shooters, falling towards the lower half of the league in this category as well.

Ingram can instantly improve these areas for the Cavaliers. He has racked up the 15th most points of any player this season and has made more 3-pointer (126) of any member of the Cavaliers. His offensive consistency would be more than welcomed on this team and could fill up the stat sheet if given the proper green light.

On the defensive end, Ingram can hold his own. He is weaker than most opponents but is agile on his feet and can contest shots with his long arms. Ingram is an upgrade on this end of the floor as well.

Above all else, he is the exact type of player the Cavaliers need. The franchise is already stuffed with guards and has a plethora of big men. Where they are lacking is the small forward position with Cedi Osman being their only reliable option.

light. MORE CAVS. Are Darius Garland and Collin Sexton a good duo?

Ingram is a natural for this position and would fit in seamlessly with the rest of the Cavaliers lineup. As the team develops, it’s possible a trio of Darius Garland, Kevin Porter Jr. and Ingram could prove to be very effective.

Porter has already shown great potential as a two-way player, earning praise from head coach J.B. Bickerstaff. As for Garland, he is steadily improving as a playmaker and is a deadly 3-point shooter in the making.

If things go right, Brandon Ingram could become a cornerstone for the Cleveland Cavaliers in their rebuilding process. The front office should be working hard to sign Ingram this summer.
