3. Langston Galloway

Langston Galloway might be the best option for the Los Angeles Lakers, though it remains unclear whether he will be bought out or not. Thus, due to the unlikeliness of this scenario, Galloway ranks last amongst these potential candidates.

So what makes him so perfect for the Lakers? For starters, Galloway is a terrific shooter that has never shot less than 34 percent from 3 for an entire season. This season, he is having his best shooting season yet at 39.8 percent from downtown.

That you can get all that out of a role player whose team doesn’t even appreciate him enough to start makes him even more enticing for the Lakers to consider.

Which brings us to the second main reason behind this rumor. The Detroit Pistons are taking a semi-different approach to the game of basketball. Instead of competing to win basketball games, what they’ve decided to do instead is tank the entire season and invest in their youth

Tanking teams like the Pistons hate players that occupy playing time and do the scoring instead of the younger players. This fiasco does no one good. Neither the youngsters or the team progress to the next level.

If bought out, the Lakers should make signing Galloway priority No. 1 before another contender scoops in to sign him for themselves.
