Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are putting together a season that would make all but the greatest of superteams blanch. Why does nobody seem to care?

If you were new to basketball, there are a few things you would learn early on about the Milwaukee Bucks. You would learn that they are very good and may just be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, and you would learn that they have the leading Most Valuable Player candidate, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

You would learn that in a couple of years, Antetokounmpo becomes a free agent, and that all the best teams in the NBA (or biggest markets) think they have a chance at recruiting his services in the summer of 2021. You would learn that the most interesting thing about the Bucks and the NBA as a whole right now is speculating about who ends up signing him away from Milwaukee.
