Nikola Jokic continued his torrid stretch over the last four weeks, leading the Denver Nuggets to a 9-5 record over that period while averaging 24.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.9 steals in 35.7 minutes per game.

Jokic shot 53.8 percent overall during that period and hit 31.8 percent on 3.1 3-point attempts per game. He had 13 double-doubles in that 14-game stretch, running his season total to 35, and also had four of his 11 triple-doubles over the four-week period.

Among the highlights was matching his career-high with 21 rebounds in a 30-point, 21-board, 10-assist triple-double on Feb. 5 when the Nuggets won at Utah. He scored 39 points with 11 dimes and 10 rebounds in an overtime loss at Detroit on Feb. 2 and dished a season-best 13 assists in a victory over the Spurs on Monday.

Jokic was selected for his second straight All-Star appearance and will play for Team LeBron in Sunday’s exhibition. He’s increased his season numbers to 20.6 points (a career-high pace), 10.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 32.5 minutes per game, shooting 51.8 percent overall and 32.9 percent on 3.8 triple tries a night.

Whatever lingering effects he had from Serbia’s FIBA World Cup run that contributed to his slow start to the season are long since gone and Jokic has continued to sizzle for a couple of months now.
