Let’s wrap it up

We’ve come along way from that Grit n’ Grind team that proved a lot of us wrong as the underdogs. In fact, the whole team is basically brand-new with the most experienced Grizzly being Jaren Jackson Jr. and Kyle Anderson.

Before we wrap it up, the coaching and management efforts that have been shown, have been beyond impressive, without a doubt. Newly acquired coach, Taylor Jenkins, has been a dark-horse for coach of the year, directing a young team into a great direction.

The management has also been beyond amazing, especially the scouting team. What makes their team so much more impressive is that only four active players on their roster (Morant, Jackson Jr., Valanciunas and Winslow) were drafted in the lottery, leaving the rest of the players who were drafted in either the second round or the late first round.

We’re talking about players like Brandon Clarke, Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson, who weren’t drafted in the lottery.

The Memphis Grizzlies have a bright future ahead and they’re already proving a lot of us wrong right now. This team has a lot of pieces and have already sorted our their future core and other than the whole Iguodala situations, there seems to be tons of chemistry between the team.

It’ll be very likely that the Memphis Grizzlies will miss the playoffs but don’t get used to seeing it, these guys are here to play.
