Brandon Clarke

This forward out of Gonzaga has been one of the best forward rookies in the NBA this year. After being passed over by 20 NBA teams in the draft, Brandon Clarke was drafted to the Oklahoma City Thunder before being traded to the Grizzlies for Darius Bazley and a 2024 second-round pick. Clarke has been essential for the team and has proven his consistency on the boards and scoring. Clarke was easily one of the most slept on rookies entering the 2019-20 NBA season, although he’s one of the most complete players in the class.

Brandon Clarke is currently averaging 12.3 points per game as well as grabbing an average of 5.7 rebounds per game. Clarke is also shooting an impressive 62.3% from the floor and a decent 42% from the arc, although he’s more of a slasher than a spot-up shooter.

After watching Grizzlies games, you can tell that Clarke fits the playstyle that head coach Taylor Jenkins has put together.

Brandon Clarke is a ridiculously fun player to watch, and Grizzlies should be very excited to watch him as he enters a prosperous NBA career. The Memphis Grizzlies got one of the biggest steals in the draft in Clarke.
