Honorable Mention: 11/20 @ LA Clippers
Result: Loss (107-104)
It may seem odd to start off the list with a loss, but there are a few reasons why this game against the LA Clippers is an honorable mention.
First, it was a loss. If the game was a win, then, spoiler alert, it’d be number one or two. However, it was a devastating loss, so it ends up outside of the top 10 rankings. That’s the primary reason for it not being any higher. Yet, the problem most likely lies with why this game is here at all.

The sheer entertainment factor that was involved in this game is what puts it at this spot. No Gordon Hayward, first time that Paul George and Kawhi Leonard saw the court together for the Clippers, and the youngsters Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown squaring up against the All-Star duo.
The game also lived up to the generated hype. The two teams traded blows for the majority of the game, with Boston seeming like it had gained control before LA made a furious run in the 4th quarter. Eventually, the game was decided in overtime.
This game was also the source of many iconic moments the season has seen. Jayson Tatum crossed up Paul George for a clutch game-tying three, Patrick Beverly was nominated for an Oscar with his flop against Jayson Tatum, and Marcus Smart ended up with a candy wrapper on his head as he dived to make an amazing play at the ball (which he did successfully). Overall, this game had the atmosphere of a playoff game, and for that reason, it makes the honorable mention list.
It doesn’t feel right to put a loss anywhere on this list, yet none of the other wins that failed to make it in the top 10, had the same playoff feeling that this game encapsulated.
