Let’s wrap it up

Terry Rozier has so far backed up the expectations that were given to him last summer. The big debate is whether Rozier is actually worth $18.9 million per season, but that answer will present itself in the future.

Rozier has come a long way from a backup point guard in Boston who was ignored and had to play behind some of the most renowned point guards in Celtics’ franchise history such as Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving, to becoming a leader of the Charlotte Hornets. We’ve seen a huge change of how he’s played and how he’s developed into not only a better player but a better leader, with a bit of alpha-dog mentality.

We’ve seen a new resurgence in alpha-dog point guards, such as Patrick Beverley and a resurrected Chris Paul, Rozier could join those guys as the alphas on their respective roster.

That’s also a bit of an issue in the future, we could be seeing either Rozier or Graham shipped to another team, though it’s not as likely as other trade situations.

Ladies and gentlemen, the era of Terry Rozier is finally here and so far, Hornets fans rejoice for your newest point guard. The experiment has been successful thus far.
