The remarkable and resilient Toronto Raptors are somehow better than ever after losing Kawhi Leonard. We’ve got 15 takeaways from their 15-game winning streak.

Only the Toronto Raptors could be both the defending NBA champions and the most overlooked team in the league mere months later. After losing Kawhi Leonard in free agency, talking heads expected the Raptors to fall apart and make their way to their rightful spot in the lottery.

We don’t listen to those talking heads.

Instead of stepping away from their power position in the Eastern Conference, they’ve found ways to entrench themselves even deeper at the top. The Raptors are on a 15-game winning streak, they have a better record than they did at this point last season with Leonard, and the waves of unheralded young players they are currently unleashing on the NBA will set them up for dominance not only this season but for years to come.

The Toronto Raptors are perhaps the truest form of proof that good things happen when every contributing player on your team is good, is coachable and fills a role. Between their youngsters and their vets, they’ve found a way to make up for Kawhi Leonard’s production on both ends of the floor.

The Raptors are the greatest team nobody ever saw coming, in the NBA’s only non-American outpost.

In honor of this incredible run from the newest version of the Raptors, we’ll run down a list of 15 takeaways in no particular order from the Toronto Raptors’ 15-game win streak.
