Celtics Cool Off After Hot Start

The team certainly had momentum, but the loss to the Kings kickstarted the increase in losses. After a scrappy win against the Phoenix Suns, the Celtics lost to the LA Clippers in a tough overtime game. Soon after that was a loss to the Denver Nuggets, and from there on the Boston Celtics clicked into their winning ways.

The Celtics fell back down to Earth, and no more giant winning streaks occurred. The team still managed to play fantastic, and overcame injuries to hold the second spot in the East for the majority the season thus far.

While the team did not necessarily look as unbeatable as they did throughout the beginning of the season, they were still a force to be reckoned with. Kemba was doing his thing, and Jaylen Brown was looking like an All-Star candidate throughout that stretch of games.

At the end of 2019, the Boston Celtics were sitting at 23-8. good for second in the Eastern Conference. For a team projected to be a fourth or fifth seed, they seemed to be ahead of schedule with their development and chemistry. Kemba Walker was a big reason why.

As anyone can see from this tweet, Kemba is the ultimate team player. Not to compare him to anyone, but not many leaders that the Celtics have had, have gone out of their way to keep the team spirit high.
