5. Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young 21, John Collins 22, Kevin Huerter 21, De’Andre Hunter 22, Cam Reddish

The Atlanta Hawks have so much potential in this group of young guys that they currently sit at 13-49 and second-to-last in the Eastern Conference, just above the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While the Hawks clearly lack a substantial amount of winning in this league, this core is very much set to win many, many games in the league going forward. This group of young’uns make up five of the top six scorers on the roster, with Trae Young leading the way at 29.7 points per game. Dubbed ‘Ice Trae,’ the star is also averaging 9.1 assists per game, good for second in the league.

John Collins has emerged as second fiddle to Young, putting up 20.5 points per game along with 10.5 rebounds per game, De’Andre Hunter may be the top two-way player in the 2019 rookie class, Kevin Heurter is a pure shooter and while Cam Reddish hasn’t played up to some expectations so far this season, the versatile shooting guard out of Duke oozes possibility from his pores.
