The Philadelphia 76ers will reportedly send 3 picks to the Golden State Warriors for Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III. Here are the NBA Trade Grades.

The Philadelphia 76ers, who have lost three straight games by double digits and are just 6-6 over their last 12 games, made a move late Wednesday to shore up their bench, reportedly acquiring wings Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III from the Golden State Warriors for a trio of second-round draft picks.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the deal late Wednesday night, though it was obvious something was eminent when both Burks and Robinson were held out of Golden State’s lineup in the team’s 129-88 loss at Brooklyn Wednesday evening.

Here are the particulars:

Burks and Robinson had taken on big roles for the injury-depleted Warriors this season, with Robinson starting a career-high 48 games already and leading Golden State in total minutes played. He was also the club’s leading 3-point shooter at 40.0 percent on 3.5 attempts per game.

As is often the case as the deadline nears, the Warriors were put into a tough spot Wednesday night and it was reflected in a lethargic effort in an embarrassing loss to the Nets. Coach Steve Kerr acknowledged the problems his team had with the situation.

Jordan Poole talked to The San Jose Mercury News about the team’s reaction.

The 76ers were looking to shake up their depth while mired in a slump that has pulled them into a tie for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with the Indiana Pacers are 31-20, a stretch during which All-Star center Joel Embiid said the club was lacking an offensive identity.

The attractive part of the deal for the Warriors is two-fold: Golden State has moved from a position of having one second-round pick in the next seven years to five with the Burks/Robinson deal along with the recent trade that sent Willie Cauley-Stein to the Dallas Mavericks, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Golden State will have to do some roster juggling, as will Philadelphia, in the wake of a two-for-none swap.
