SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 01: Kyle Kuzma #0 of the Los Angeles Lakers warms up prior to the start of an NBA basketball game against the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center on February 01, 2020 in Sacramento, California. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) /

Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be mostly fixed in place as a finished product. They don’t have many desirable contracts they’re willing to part with, but Kyle Kuzma may hold some intrigue around the league. He has an attractive salary number at just $1.94 million this season and won’t be a free agent until 2021, giving whatever team he’s on control of his contract for a couple of years. This one is probably a long shot, but there might be enough smoke for there to be a fire.

LA Clippers

The shrewd LA Clippers have the assets to make a move if one is available to push them over the edge. One of their movable parts is Maurice Harkless, who the Clippers acquired in part of the multi-team sign-and-trade that sent Jimmy Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Miami Heat. There’s a handful of possible moving pieces, but Harkless seems like the best value that the Clippers would be willing to part with.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are legitimately in a playoff race. It was unexpected but they’re going to want to push for that eighth and final spot in the Western Conference. They won’t want to trade any of their core pieces, but they may be willing to part with Andre Iguodala. Overtly disinterested in having anything to do with this Grizzlies team, his contract expires this season and any value is some value.
