5 players for Cleveland Cavaliers to target at trade deadline

2. Justise Winslow
The Miami Heat have surprised quite a few people by powering through the Eastern Conference to a 32-15 record.
Behind an all-around team effort, the Heat are in position as a dark-horse title contender. Players such as Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Kendrick Nunn and Justise Winslow have stepped up in big ways.
Of that bunch, Winslow may be the most expendable. If the Heat want to make a real push for a title, they may be interested in swapping Winslow for a more solidified star such as Kevin Love. An additional star with championship experience could make the Heat a legitimate threat.
Winslow joining the Cavaliers would create an interesting dynamic. The Heat have experimented with Winslow at point guard in the past as he is a talented playmaker for his size. This is good as the Cavaliers are lacking in the playmaking department.
Darius Garland leads the Cavs in assists with 3.6 per game. At the forward position this year, Winslow is averaging 4.0 assists a night. It’s clear that Winslow has some value to offer this team in terms of creating for others.
He also brings a sense of overall versatility the team is needing. Winslow can play multiple positions and is a decent defender at most levels.
Acquiring Winslow would offer the Cavs some freedom to create different lineups. Perhaps the Cavs could move Cedi Osman and Collin Sexton to the bench, allowing an increased opportunity for Kevin Porter Jr. at the shooting guard position while Winslow plays the forward.
At 23 years of age, Winslow has some real potential. If the Cavs can find a way to trade for him, they should absolutely do it.
