The Cleveland Cavaliers need to ship off Kevin Love. Between the social media posts, the private meetings with the front office and the body language on the court and bench, it’s clear he wants out.

The question becomes, what can Cleveland get in return for him? While he is still a great player in the NBA, he is 31 years old and is due a ton of money ($91.46 million to be exact) over the next three years. It would truly take a team going all-in on winning soon to put together a package the Cavs may accept.

In the proposed trade, the Minnesota Timberwolves decide they are sick of losing and go all-in. They send Gorgui Dieng as salary filler along with young guys in Jarrett Culver and Jordan Bell. Cleveland could certainly use both of these young guys to add to their core of Darius Garland and Collin Sexton.

For Minnesota, you would think a big three of Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Kevin Love would be pretty solid. They could once again have a chance at being a playoff team. For now, they are a bottom feeder in the Western Conference after two early losing streaks of at least nine games this season.

It would take a desperate team like the Timberwolves to trade for a guy like Kevin Love.
