The Boston Celtics are in need of a center as they are starting to look toward the playoffs. Nerlens Nerlens Noel could easily be their guy. Born in the Boston area, Noel can veto any trade after signing a one-year contract last summer as a free agent, but one would think he would green-light a deal to go play on a contending team.

Although he is an expiring contract, he has had the best year of his career this season in Oklahoma City.

Per 36 minutes, Noel has been nearly as good as Steven Adams and has even started several games for the Thunder this season. He is an energetic, defensive-minded big who is an excellent lob catcher. He could plug in as an immediate starter in Boston.

The Celtics could send back a young big man in Robert Williams, which makes sense for Oklahoma City as they are looking to stockpile young talent.
