This proposed trade only makes sense for the Toronto Raptors if they are willing to sacrifice pieces that are key to their future to contend in the near-term. OG Anunoby is highly coveted by Toronto’s front office and fan base and Serge Ibaka is playing great basketball. However, you could say Kevin Love would raise the Raptors’ ceiling.

It’s doubtful Toronto would be willing to swing for the fences on a deal like this, but if Cleveland calls at the deadline, it would have to be something they consider. Love would fit nicely on this Raptors team and really help floor spacing. The Cavaliers would get a couple of young wings to play alongside their dynamic young guard duo.
