One trade each NBA team should consider

The Portland Trail Blazers are struggling with the combo of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard. The 76ers have also had their fair share of playing Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons together. What could these two teams do to make each other better? Trade McCollum for Embiid.

The 76ers would have much better spacing for Simmons with McCollum at shooting guard and shifting Al Horford to center in Embiid’s place. Rather than having the majority of your production in Portland coming from guards, they could spread the wealth between Lillard and Embiid.

Although it’s doubtful either of these teams pull the trigger on a deal like this, it would be a ton of fun to see what these teams would look like.
