OK, Minnesota, you can’t swing and miss on D’Angelo Russell again. After constantly being linked to bringing him in to play alongside his friend Karl-Anthony Towns, the Minnesota Timberwolves have never made it happen. It is safe to say they need to make a splash as this season is going sideways quickly in Minnesota.

Although they would be giving up two huge assets in Jarrett Culver and Robert Covington as well as a first-round pick and two second-rounders, it would be worth it. The fanbase deserves this change and this would get people excited again. A trio of Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Russell would actually be super fun to watch. Also, they would probably win quite a few games

The Warriors would start to stockpile picks to build for their future beyond the Splash Brothers era, along with two quality players to help them make more playoff pushes starting next season.
