One trade each NBA team should consider

In this deal, the LA Clippers send out a first-round pick for an elite shooter. Davis Bertans has been excellent this season and could put the Clippers over the top in a tight Western Conference. The Wizards view Bertans as a long-term piece on the roster, but first-round picks are extremely appealing.

This is a deal that makes sense for both sides considering their circumstances. A Clippers bench with Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and Davis Bertans would be absolutely deadly. Based on the direction they are going, why do the Clippers need their first-round pick anyways?

So far this season, Bertans has shot 42.6 percent from deep on 8.6 attempts per game. He’s also poured in 15.3 points per contest.
