We have less than two weeks before the NBA trade deadline and every team is exploring the market. What trades should go down?

The NBA trade deadline is getting closer and closer. Many teams have exceeded expectations so far this season while others have vastly under-performed. Regardless, there should be enough buyers and sellers to make the deadline extremely interesting.

In the Western Conference, there are a handful of teams who are still battling for eighth. How many of those teams will look to be buyers in order to try and sneak into the playoffs and how many will fold and sell off players in an effort to enhance their lottery odds?

There are also teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder who are complete wildcards. Coming into the season, everyone expected them to sell off half of their roster in efforts to kick off their rebuild in the new era of Thunder basketball. Instead, they’ve been exceptional and could easily be buyers or stand pat at the deadline.

Regardless of what happens, there is no doubt that several teams will beef up as they make a playoff push. Many contenders are one piece away from having a real shot at making a push for an NBA title. The NBA trade deadline sometimes can change the course of a franchise’s future forever.
