Milwaukee Bucks. 1. team. 89. . 38-6. Previous:

Last week: Beat New York 128-102, beat Boston 128-123, won at Brooklyn 117-97

This week: Monday vs. Chicago, Friday at Charlotte (Paris)

It will be short on games, but long on distance, this week for the top-ranked Milwaukee Bucks this week after they ran their winning streak to five games with a 3-0 mark last week. The Bucks will play Monday at home before heading to Europe for Friday’s matchup with the “host” Charlotte Hornets in Paris — the NBA’s first-ever regular season game to be played in France.

Milwaukee continues to sizzle, with 10 wins in their last 11 games. Their .864 winning percentage projects to a 71-win season, which would be third-best in NBA history behind the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors (73) and the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls (72).

The Bucks’ plus-12.0 net rating would tie the 1996-97 Bulls for the third-best all-time, trailing only Chicago’s 1995-96 squad (plus-13.4) and Golden State’s 2015-16 effort (plus-13.0). Yeah, that’s the neighborhood in which Milwaukee is checking out real estate prices.

Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to stuff a lot of production into some fairly short stints. Last week in three games, he averaged 32.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in just 27.3 minutes per game, shooting 59.3 percent overall and hitting 5-of-15 from 3-point range. That included 37 points in 21 minutes in the win over the Knicks on Tuesday.
