118. . 29-13. Previous: . Utah Jazz. 7. team

Last week: Won at Washington 127-116, won at Brooklyn 118-107, lost at New Orleans 138-132 (OT), beat Sacramento 123-101

This week: Monday vs. Indiana, Wednesday at Golden State, Saturday vs. Dallas

The Utah Jazz had their 10-game winning streak ended by New Orleans on Thursday, losing in overtime after an improbable ending in regulation to tie the game, but bounced right back to beat the Kings and have won 16 of their last 18. That ending in regulation in the Big Easy included a foul call against the Pelicans after a review and Rudy Gobert splitting a pair of free throws.

Gobert had a monster week for the Jazz overall, running his string of consecutive double-doubles to six games while averaging 22.0 points, 15.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 36.7 minutes per game, shooting 74.4 percent in the process.

His 28 points in the win over the Kings Saturday was the second-highest total of his career. Gobert scored 35 points in a win over the Knicks on March 22, 2017.

110. . 29-12. Previous: . Miami Heat. 6. team

Last week: Lost at New York 124-121, beat San Antonio 106-100, won at Oklahoma City 115-108

This week: Sunday at San Antonio, Monday vs. Sacramento, Wednesday vs. Washington, Friday vs. Clippers

The Miami Heat bounced back from an embarrassing loss at New York on Sunday to post solid victories over the Spurs and at Oklahoma City. After going to San Antonio Sunday, the Heat will open a five-game homestand that will include visits from the Clippers, Magic and Celtics — all teams in playoff positions.

Rookie Kendrick Nunn flipped the switch last week. After averaging 11.9 points on 41.0 percent shooting over his previous 10 games, Nunn put up 25.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.1 minutes per game in three games last week, shooting a red-hot 62.0 percent overall and hitting 10-of-19 from 3-point range.
