Positives and negatives from Cleveland Cavaliers first half of season

The Cleveland Cavaliers have some reflecting to do at the midway point of the season.
It’s year two of the rebuild and although the Cleveland Cavaliers still have a long way to go before returning to the NBA Playoffs, the franchise has taken a very slight step in the right direction.

The subtle improvements the Cavaliers have made this season may go unnoticed, but they will pay dividends in the future. This young squad is slowly putting the pieces together and is playing with more unity and joy than they did last season.
The Cavs are currently on pace to win more games than they did last season. Cleveland has a 12-31 record right now opposed to the 9-36 record they had this time last season.
The difference for Cleveland has been more than their improved team chemistry. Despite not having much consistency, the Cavaliers have seen some big games from their young players and veterans combined.
For better or worse, each core member of the team has had an impact. Today, we are going to look at some of the biggest negatives and positives the Cavaliers have had this season. Before we begin, let’s analyze a few players who have been mostly neutral.
