The Clippers could not catch a break

Remember how you could describe the LA Clippers? Disappointing and injured. Well, we got past the disappointment and here are where all the injuries started to happen left, right and center.

During the regular season, the Clippers were without their second-best player for the majority of the season, as Blake Griffin sat out 45 games with a broken hand.

Nevertheless, they still managed to win 53 games and got the fourth seed to face the Portland Trail Blazers. The Clippers did take the 2-0 lead, but soon the injuries returned.

This time, the team lost both Griffin and Chris Paul for the last two games in the series, though the rest of the team still managed to make the series competitive and even were close to forcing a Game 7 behind Jamal Crawford’s 32 points in Game 6.

Finally, we arrive at the last season of the Lob City era.
