2. Kevin Love

Frustrations have been boiling for Kevin Love for quite some time in Cleveland.

It’s clear that even though he willingly signed a contract extension with the franchise shortly after LeBron James’ departure, Love had no intention of committing long-term with the Cleveland Cavaliers if this was the path they would go down.

The franchise has been far from competitive in the last two seasons. Consequently, Love has sat by idly this season as the front office and coaching staff place a heavy emphasis on developing their young talent.

Love has made little effort to hide his feelings regarding the situation. He has had multiple outbursts and been fined by the team once already. In a recent interview with ESPN, Love apologized for “acting like a 13-year-old,” but the damage has already been done.

It will be difficult to find a trading partner to take on Love’s hefty $120 million dollar contract. At 31 years of age, Love is reaching the end of his productive playing days.

Regardless, there is no doubt that Love is still capable of playing at an All-Star level in the correct situation and the franchise will be actively looking to trade the former champion.
