With the decade drawing to a close, let’s take a look at the executives, coaches and players that were most impactful during the 2010s for the Utah Jazz.

Although the Utah Jazz never made it past the second round of the playoffs this decade, they remained a consistent, formidable opponent during the regular season and playoffs throughout the 2010s. From the 2010 portion of the 2009-10 season to date, the Jazz own a 425-379 regular season record.

Moreover, Utah secured five playoff berths and made it to the Western Conference semifinals on three occasions.

In 2010 the Utah Jazz, led by Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer, upset the Denver Nuggets in the first round before falling to the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers in the following series.

After missing the playoffs in 2011, the Jazz made their way back in 2012, this time led by Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, however, this Utah squad fell victim to the No. 1-seeded San Antonio Spurs in the first round.

During the 2016-17 season the Jazz won the Northwest Division for the first time since 2008 and snapped a five-year playoff drought. In the first round, a Gordon Hayward-led squad defeated a favored LA Clippers in seven games. However this iteration of the Jazz lost in four to the eventual champion Golden State Warriors in the second round.

Following Hayward’s departure, Donovan Mitchell stepped up as the team’s new No. 1 scoring option and, alongside Rudy Gobert, has led the Jazz to the playoffs the last two seasons.

This season, Utah is sixth in the West with a 20-12 record; however, they are just three games out of second and five games out first in a competitive, top-heavy conference.

The Jazz are poised to make the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season and as they look to finish atop the conference come April, let’s look back at those who made the greatest impact on the team in the 2010s. Here is the Utah Jazz 2010s All-Decade team.
