There’s no need to hypothesize about what this Milwaukee Bucks unit would look like in reality. We saw it last season when they won a league-best 60 games, proving dominant at both ends with one of the league’s brightest superstars.

Milwaukee was one of only two teams to place inside the top-5 in both offensive and defensive efficiency, ranking first in points and second in 3-pointers made per game as well.

Malcolm Brogdon was a model of efficiency joining the 50/40/90 shooting club. Brook Lopez continued his perimeter renaissance with a career-best 3-point percentage and makes per game. Khris Middleton was a first-time All-Star.

The heart of this elite production, however, was Giannis Antetokounmpo with a roster constructed to accentuate his otherworldly gifts.

Play him one-on-one and he bullies his way to the basket with unparalleled length and size. Send help and one of his teammates beats you from beyond the arc. It was a recipe few regular-season opponents had the answer for, where even a sliver of space was excruciatingly paid for.

Defensively, the Bucks were long at every position, allowing them to contest the most shots both in and outside the arc and alleviate the pressure of a make-or-break 3-point-heavy offense.

What Milwaukee lacks in name recognition is made up for in chemistry and complementary skills, which not every team on this list has as a mix of different points in time. Infuse the greatness of the reigning MVP and career-best seasons across the lineup and the deer does indeed need to be feared.
