The San Antonio Spurs won a couple of blowouts last week, including getting a bit of revenge against the Pistons on Saturday. In Detroit on Dec. 1, the Spurs got rocked 132-98 and flipped that around on the Pistons with a 136-109 win. San Antonio has gone 6-4 over its last 10 games following a 7-14 start.

DeMar DeRozan is lighting it up recently, averaging 25.3 points, 7.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.9 minutes per game, shooting a ridiculous 73.8 percent overall. DeRozan went for his second double-double of the season in the win at Memphis Monday night, finishing with 26 points and 10 assists while going 10-for-11 from the floor.

The losing streak finally ended Saturday night at eight games as the Phoenix Suns escaped from Sacramento with a win after blowing a 14-point lead. The Kings tied the game five times in the fourth quarter, but could never get ahead, but the outcome remained in doubt until Sacramento missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer with two seconds remaining.

Devin Booker fueled the attack for Phoenix last week, averaging 25.7 points, 6.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 37.6 minutes per game, shooting 50.8 percent overall, but hitting a dismal 2-for-16 from 3-point range. Booker had 32 points and 10 assists in the win at Sacramento, going 14-for-23 overall despite missing all four of his deep attempts.
