Chicago Bulls: Selecting franchise’s 2010 All-Decade team
The Chicago Bulls have had several individuals who have contributed over the past 10 seasons. Here’s a look at the organization’s all-decade team.
The Chicago Bulls haven’t enjoyed a lot of success over the past few years. They posted a 42-40 record in 2016 but failed to make it to the playoffs. They followed that up with a 41-41 mark the next season, which was good enough for the eighth seed in the eastern conference.
Their playoff run was short-lived, however, as they fell to the Boston Celtics in six games despite winning the first two games of that playoff series.
Overall, the Bulls have failed to qualify for the postseason in three of the past four seasons. And unfortunately, that trend may continue, as they find themselves on the outside looking in as far as the standings are concerned this year. Not only that, but the team made coaching changes in 2015 and 2018 following a string of five consecutive playoff appearances.
As grim as the narrative has been as of late, this kind of futility wasn’t always a trend for this once-proud franchise. There was a stretch in which the team was a perennial playoff contender, making eight postseason appearances throughout 10 seasons.
Additionally, there have been several players and one head coach who made their mark and those individuals will not soon be forgotten in the hearts and minds of Bulls fans.
So without further delay, here’s a look at the Bulls’ All-Decade team.
