5 most memorable Phoenix Suns moments from 2019

3. 18-game losing streak vs. Golden State Warriors snapped (March 10)
Once again, this was a game some people would look at on paper and think it’s a typo.
No, this wasn’t the Golden State Warriors of 2019-20, this was a group led by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant. Even with all three playing for the Warriors (including a healthy DeMarcus Cousins), the Phoenix Suns managed to pull out a 115-111 win to snap an 18-game losing streak against the Warriors.
Playing catalyst in a final fourth quarter push was none other than Devin Booker, who scored 13 straight points for the Suns to seal the win for Phoenix. He eventually finished with 37 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds, falling just short of a triple double.
That win marked the first time Phoenix had beat Golden State since 2014 and also was only the 16th victory of the season for the Suns.
Despite big performances from Thompson (28 points) and Durant (25) and the Warriors shooting a collective 44.2 percent from the field, the Suns limited the defending champs to only 10 made threes on 43 attempts. And crazy enough was the fact the Suns handed the Warriors only their 10th loss of the season at home.
