The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 11 games in a row, making this streak the 12th-longest in franchise history and the longest streak since the 2014-15 season, when the Timberwolves went 16-66.

What was at one time expected to be a quick losing period during a tough stretch in their schedule has now turned into one of the worst performances by any NBA team in recent memory and as usual, there are a lot of reasons behind this.
A big one is defense, as Minnesota is 30th in the league in defensive rating over the last 11 games. Another is ball security, as the Timberwolves are 28th in assist-to-turnover ratio over the same stretch.
